Paula Everest
Club Director & Welfare Officer
As one of the club's founders, I have proudly been part of its journey for the past 31 years, establishing Westerleigh Judo Club alongside our Head Coach, Paul. Watching the club grow into the supportive community it is today has been one of my greatest achievements.
My career has always focused on supporting others. After 26 years as a Senior Dental Nurse, I worked as a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant in specialist SEN education and now support young people with additional needs through the Shared Lives Scheme.
As Welfare Officer and Club Director, I am committed to ensuring the wellbeing, safety and inclusion of all our athletes, coaches and volunteers. I also oversee the day-to-day running of the club, working with our administration team to help achieve the club's goals and provide the best possible experience for all our members.
